Eien no Filena - Filena, Lila

Eien no Filena is kind of a weird game, and I wouldn't say it's terribly good, either as a game or in terms of writing, but I totally love it anyway. (I discovered it just slightly too late for Yuletide 2012 and I have been waiting all year to request it, and probably annoying my friends by refusing to shut up about it in the meantime.) It's got your standard "lost heir discovers destiny, goes on quest to reclaim throne" fantasy plot going, but the lost heir is a woman and so are most of the other party members, and one of said party members declares herself the lost heir's wife, and neither of them ever gets anything resembling a male love interest and they're shown at the end side-by-side in the throne room, apparently ruling the kingdom together. Which is a thing that I appreciate very much.

So, uh, as you may have guessed, I ship Filena/Lila pretty hard, although the fic doesn't necessarily need to have a romantic focus. I'd love post-canon fic about them trying to rebuild the kingdom and dealing with the challenges that come with that, or them going off on another adventure, or more domestic post-canon fic if you prefer, or a missing scene or scenes during the course of the game that shows something of the development of their relationship, or... anything, really. I know that's not helpful, but I'd pretty much just be thrilled for fic for this game to exist at all.

Since this game is twenty years old and was never available in English to begin with, I'm going to go ahead and link a ROM and an English patch, which you can play with an SNES emulator such as ZSNES or SNES9X (which are linked from the page the ROM is on). There's also a complete Let's Play, although the LPer really doesn't like Lila and that makes me sad.

Qualia the Purple - Hatou Manabu, Marii Yukari, Alice Foyle, Tenjou Nanami

The multiple realities/timelines in this series really lend themselves to fic, I feel--even the ones we see are only shown briefly, and there are so many possibilities beyond those that are shown. What happens with the one timeline where Gaku never learns of Yukari's death and reconnects with Nanami years later? How did Gaku and Alice get together in the first shown timeline where that happens? What's up with the briefly-mentioned reality in which people have magical powers? Are there timelines besides that one where stuff we'd consider weird fantasy or science fiction elements are commonplace? (It occurs to me that there's potential here to essentially do AUs of the genre kind as well as the divergence kind within the confines of canon, because the canon is just that nuts.) Basically, I'd just really like to see one (or more!) of the alternate possibilities explored a little more fully.

Also, for the record, I am cool with these characters being paired up in pretty much any possible combination, canon or otherwise. (Okay, Alice/Nanami would be a little weird, but I bet there's a timeline in which it could work!)

Transistor - Farrah Yon-Dale, Lillian Platt, Niola Chein, Bailey Gilande

Cloudbank is such an interesting world, and we only get little glimpses of what it was like before the Process came along. Given the characters' positions at the top of their various fields, I think they'd all have unique insights into how it works, with varying levels of contentment/discontentment/trying to change the system from within. So if you wanted to do something worldbuilding-focusd through the lens of any of these characters and their daily lives pre-Process, that would be cool! Or if you'd rather focus on fleshing out their characterization and personal lives, I'd like that too. Or something about how they were courted by the Camerata... really, anything pre-canon focusing on the minor characters would make me happy.

Alternatively, if you would like to write something post-game exploring the possibility that all the characters whose data has been integrated into the Transistor continue to exist in some capacity, I would be interested in that as well.

I would be totally happy for the other trace-data characters to show up in some capacity (I would have nominated them all if I could have) and/or for the Camerata to be involved in the story. I'm also okay with Red and her sword boyfriend making an appearance, I just wouldn't want a story mainly about them because I'm more interested in exploring things that the game didn't focus on.
